Arna Mae Hodges

    Arna Mae Hodges   Arna Mae Hodges, age 89, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at the Mountain City Care Center. She was born on November 17, 1926 to the late James Radford Reece and Lura Victoria Main Reece.  In addition to her parents, Arna Mae was preceded in death by her husband, Isaac Gordon Hodges; sisters:  Della R. Crowe and Beulah Oliver, and brothers:  Kermit, Carl, Walter and Robert E. Reece.   Arna Mae worked at Burlington Industries for 10 years and Blue Ridge Shoe Company for 10 years. She was a member of Church of Christ of Trade, TN.   Arna Mae is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Gordon and Frances Hodges of Smyrna, GA; brother, Billy E. Reece and wife Mary Nell of Mountain City, TN; and several nieces and nephews.   The family will receive friends from 1- 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at the Mountain City Funeral Home Chapel with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. with Steven Spencer to officiate.  Music will be by Fred Ramsey. Graveside Service and Interment will follow the funeral at the Sunset Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Mike Reece, Jim Reece, Larry Reece, Gary Reece, Jim Crowe and Danny Huddleston. Honorary pallbearers are Gary Hodges, D. H.
