Douglas Terry Cox

Douglas Terry Cox, age 76, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 31, 2016. He was born in Springfield Township, Ohio on June 12, 1940. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pete and Betty Pettigrew Cox.   Douglas retired from General Motors where he worked as an Inspector on the assembly line.   Those left to cherish his memories include his wife, Yvonne Cox; children: Christina Murray and husband Bradley of Port St. Lucie, FL, Douglas Cox and wife Pamela of Milltown, IN, Timothy A. Cox and wife Gwen of Mountain City, TN, Wesley O. Cox and wife Ranae of Johnstown, NY, Kenneth W. Cox and wife Rhonda of Cincinnati, OH, Philip L. Cox and wife Miranda of Blanchester, OH; sister, Gloria Gruber; brother, David Cox, both of Goshen, OH; sixteen grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.   The family will receive friends at EC Nurre Funeral Home of Amelia, OH on Saturday, September 3, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. with the funeral service following at 10:30 a.m. Graveside service and interment will follow at the Graceland Memorial Gardens of Milford, Ohio.   Condolences may be sent to the family at www.mountaincityfh.com.   The family of Douglas Terry Cox has entrusted his services to Mountain City Funeral Home, 224 S.
