Glenn Buckler

Glenn Buckler, age 59, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at his residence surrounded by his family.  He was born on February 20, 1957 to the late Thomas L. and Catherine Medd Buckler.  In addition to his parents, Glenn was preceded in death by sister and brother-in-law, Cathy Ann Lafferty and a brother, Thomas Buckler.   Glenn enjoyed being outdoors and especially enjoyed fishing.  He also enjoyed various sports, but had a special love for football.  He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles football fan.   Glenn was a United States Veteran, having honorably served in the Army during Vietnam.   Those left to cherish his memories include his wife of 28 years, Dolores Buckler; sons:  Kurt Kneuker and Kevin Kneuker; sister, Gail Buckler Hamilton and husband Scott; grandchild, Evie Kneuker; nieces:  Lisa Allen and Ellen Buckler; nephews:  Sean Lafferty, Kevin Lafferty, Joshua Hamilton and Justin Hamilton; brother-in-law, Edward Lafferty; several cousins; many special friends and his special four-legged friends, Joey and Frankie.   It was Glenn’s wishes to be cremated and that no formal service be held.   Condolences may be sent to the family through our website at www.mountaincityfh.com   The family of Glenn Buckler has entrusted his services to Mountain City Funeral Home, 224 S.
