David Jansen Byerly, Jr.

David Jansen Byerly, Jr., age 25, of Butler, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at his residence. He was born in Carter County, Elizabethton, TN; on September 16, 1991 to David Jansen Byerly and Melissa Hailey. David is preceded in death by his Maternal and Paternal grandparents and by a sister Brandi McCrary.   David graduated from Central Davidson High School in Lexington, NC where he was in the ROTC program and this lead him to the United States Marine Corp for 4 years. He later became a Commercial and Residential installer of Heat and Air.   David is survived his parents, David Byerly and step mother Pamela Byerly and his mother, Melissa Hailey; son, Jayden Byerly; sister, Tiffany Jean McCrary, step sister, Mandy Haskel, nieces, nephews, cousins aunts and uncles.   The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 from 1:30 - 2:30 p.m. at Mountain City Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 2:30 p.m. with Pastor Don Winters from Sugar Grove Baptist Church to officiate.     To honor David, memorial donations may be made to the father to help with expenses incurred with David’s untimely passing.   At other times, the family will receive friends at the home 429 Greggs Branch Rd., Butler, TN 37640.   Condolences may be sent to the family at www.mountaincityfh.com.
