Paul Kenneth Tucker

Paul Kenneth Tucker, age 79, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, February 03, 2017 at the Hillview Nursing Home of Elizabethton, TN. He was born on June 22, 1937 to the late Lee and Inez Dunn Tucker. In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by sister, Ruby Weaver and brothers: Edward Tucker, Earl Tucker and infant brother, Daniel Tucker.   Paul was a United States Army Veteran. He worked for Southern Towing Company for 14 years on the Mississippi River operating tug boats. He also worked for Brown Brothers Construction for several years.   Those left to cherish his memories include his niece, Linda K. Tucker Thompson and husband Scott of Kansas, City, Missouri; niece, Patricia Beecham and husband Dallas of Florida and nephew, Don Weaver of Bristol, TN and many special friends and neighbors.   Memorial service for Paul will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at the Mountain City Funeral Home Chapel. Military honors will follow the service at the funeral home and will be conducted by the Johnson County Honor Guard. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
