Teresa Blevins

Teresa Gayle Poston Blevins, age 42, of Damascus, Virginia, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 5, 2017.  She was born on November 20, 1974 to Roger Poston and Mae Belle Terry Poston. Teresa enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  She loved the outdoors and really enjoyed fishing, motorcycle riding and animals.  She was a very kind, caring and giving person who loved her family and friends very much and will truly be missed by all. Teresa is survived by her husband Randy Blevins of Damascus, VA; mother and father, Roger Poston and Mae Belle Poston; step sons:  Abby Spicer and Ray Blevins; sister and brother-in-law, Jenny Snodgrass and husband David; brothers and sisters-in-law: Ronald Poston and wife Priscilla and Joe Poston and wife Jessica; special brother-in-law,  Bob Blevins and wife Jess; grandchildren:  Caden Spicer, Justin Blevins, Maddy Blevins, Lexi Blevins, Rayley Blevins; mother-in-law, Dorothy Blevins; special aunt and uncle, Barbara and Hai Tran, special aunt, Ada Woodard; her special dog, Penny; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and many special friends. Funeral service for Teresa will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 9, 2017 at the Mountain City Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Steve Vaughan officiating.  Graveside service and interment will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 10, 2017 at the Mock Cemetery, Damascus, Virginia.  Pallbearers are Jeff Wingler, Ray Blevins, Abby Spicer, John Mahala, JR Robbins, Mike Sawyer and Charlie Fields.  Honorary pallbearers are JR Wyatt, Jessie Wyatt and Scott Puckett. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, prior to the funeral. Family, pallbearers and friends are asked to assemble by 12:45 on Friday, at the cemetery for services. Flowers are appreciated or memorial contributions may be made to the family. At other times, the family will receive friends at Old Rock School Apt #9, Damascus, VA.
