  Sandra Kay Barrett                                                             Sandra Kay Price Barrett, age 67, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday May 11, 2017 at the Johnson City Medical Center after a lengthy illness. She was born August 31, 1949 in Ashe County, North Carolina to the late Glenn Thomas Price and Bertie Mae Allen Price. She was also preceded in death by her daughter Teresa Claudette Barrett, brothers, Cecil Dean "Jack" Price and Charles Kenneth Price, Sisters, Vvedia Jean Price Forrester and Opal Darlena Price Lewis.   Sandra was a member of Community Church. Sandra loved all children and her pets. She enjoyed knitting and was very talented at painting ceramic figurines. Her favorite time spent was with her daughter.   Those left to cherish her memories include her husband, Junior Franklin "Buddy" Barrett, brothers, Gerald Glenn Price and wife Martha of Alexander City, Alabama, Bruce Thomas Price and wife Purdie Mae Price, and Dennis Delbert Price and wife Sharon Price of Mountain City, Tennessee Brothers in law, Robert Glen Forrester and Earl Dean Lewis of Mountain City, Tennessee, sister in law Lois Wilson Price of Alabama and many nieces and nephews.   A memorial service conducted by Ron Drake will be held at Community Church 167 W.E. Neatherly Rd, Mountain City, TN 37683 on Tuesday May 16, 2017 at 7:00 pm.
