Misty Yelton

Misty Michell Yelton, age 38, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at the Johnson City Medical Center.  She was born on August 16, 1978 and came to live with Kitty L. Warden Yelton and the late Dr. John Yelton in November of 1980. Misty loved browsing yard sales, having yard sales, fishing and spending time with friends and family.  She brought a smile to so many people and will be remembered for her happy, sweet and feisty spirit. She was a member of First Baptist Church. Those left to cherish her memories include her mother, Kitty Yelton; sister, Kristen Orr and husband Chris; brothers:  Josh Yelton and Billy Yelton; niece and nephew:  Emily Orr and Connor Orr; special aunt, Becky Stewart; special uncles:  Bill Warden and Mike Warden; and many special friends. A Celebration of Life Service for Misty was held at 8:00 p.m. August 16, 2017 at the Mountain City Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ricky Campbell and Minister Dwayne Dickson officiating.    The family received friends from 6-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service. The family would like to express their gratitude and appreciation to the Lighthouse Caregivers for all their kindness, love and companionship given to Misty.
