Barbara Rice

Barbara Ann Rice, age 68, of Mountain City, Tennessee went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 2, 2017. She was born to the late Jack and Anna Tester.  In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Eddie Rice and brother, Gene Tester. Barbara loved her grandchildren very much and especially enjoyed spending time with them and spoiling them. Those left to cherish her memories include her daughters:  Vicki Phillips and husband Roy of Mountain City, TN and Tiffany Kimery and husband Keith of Coves Creek, North Carolina; sister, Carol Phillips and husband Dave of Mountain City, TN; brothers:  Tom Tester and wife Teresa of Mountain City, TN and Bill Tester and Gina of Mountain City, TN; sister-in-law, Lorene Tester of Gray, TN; grandchildren:  Jessica Osborne and husband Brandon, Joshua Phillips and wife Schasta, Aaron Woods and wife Tiffany and Stephan Woods; great grandchildren:  Shae Phillips, Katelyn Osborne, Kyler Osborne, Ava Phillips and Sophie Woods; special friend, Roy Rogers; several nieces and nephews; special dog, Maxine. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at the Mountain City Funeral Home Chapel.  Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Shannon Courtner officiating.  Graveside service and interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.  Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.
