Richard Ollinger

  Richard Victor Ollinger Sr.   Richard Victor Ollinger Sr, age 62, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, February 2, 2018 at the Johnson County Community Hospital.  He was born on December 13, 1955 in Washington County, TN to the late Paul Steven Ollinger and Rosa Mae Weatherly Ollinger.  In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his wife Angela Ollinger; sisters, Rosialee Hardin, Linda Kiser, and Kathy Ollinger; brother, Dennis Gregory Ollinger Richard was a proud Veteran having served in the Marine’s.  He loved writing stories, drawing, making crafts, and hang gliding in his younger years. Those left to cherish his memories include his daughters, Monica Carr, Wendlerin Wall, Gidget Ollinger, Mandy Lewis and Becky Jennings; sons, Ricky Ollinger Jr, Dustin Lewis and Ryan Ollinger, sister, Debra K. Kiser, brothers, Paul Steven Ollinger, Jr., Edward Steven Ollinger and Alvin Eugene Hardin, seventeen grandchildren, four great grandchildren, special mother in law Elle Wyatt, special family friend Kathy Courtney, several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends on Wednesday February 7, 2018 from 12 - 1:00 p.m. from Mountain City Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Billy Morefield  to officiate. Burial will follow from the Greencove Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends.  Military honors will be accorded by the Johnson County Honor Guard.
