Charles 'Chad' Patrick Greer

Charles ‘Chad’ Patrick Greer, age 40, of Trade, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, February 9, 2018 at the Sycamore Shoals Hospital.  He was born on August 2, 1977 to the late Lilly Yvonne Greer Delp.  In addition to his mother, Chad was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bobbie Jean Woodard and Ranson D. Woodard. Chad had a beautiful voice and loved to sing.  He had several hobbies but especially enjoyed Martial Arts and shooting fireworks. He attended Heavenly Light Baptist Church, House of Prayer and Cove Creek Baptist Church. Those left to cherish his memories include his son, Andrew Greer; step-children:  Erikah Norris and McGreger Barnhill;  sister, Taffi Taylor; several cousins, nieces and nephews and many special friends. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at the Mountain City Funeral Home Chapel.  Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Ken Phipps officiating.  Graveside service and interment will follow at the Miller-Main Cemetery.  Pallbearers are Selmar Humphrey, Devon Humphrey, Benjamin Miller, Anthony Woodard, Nevada Woodard and Jamie Stout.  Honorary pallbearers are Andrew Greer, Hunter Taylor and Michael ‘Tony’ Woodard. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to Mountain City Funeral Home to assist with final expenses.
